Summer Skin Care

What is Sunscreens' shelf life?
Sunscreens aren't meant to last forever. They lose their efficiency after 1-2 years depend on the products, 3 years the most. To be safe, throw away your old sunscreens that have been sitting in your drawer for longer than a year. Buy a new one, sunburn is never fun and it leads to skin cancer in the future. Invest small money to prevent huge medical bill in the future. Consider Mary Kay SPF 30 Sunscreen.

Use and application:
Apply sunscreens 15-30 minutes before exposure to the sun and reapply every 2 hours, pay particular attention to the face, ears, hands and arms. You should be using a shot glass full of sunscreens for your body and about a teaspoon full just for your face. Don't forget that lips can sunburn too, apply a lip balm that contains sunscreen with and SPF 15 or higher, such as Mary Kay Lip Protector Sunscreen SPF 15 with vitamin E or Tinted Lip Balm with SPF 15.

Sunless product:
You can still get a tan without the sun and UVB/UVA damage. Using a Subtle Tanning Lotion will give your skin a beautiful start to the summer.

Don't forget your feet:
Put away your winner boots, it's sandal season! Take out your beautiful sandals and get your feet ready for the summer. You can either go get a pedicure at a spa or do it at home, scrub off the dead dry skin and put on Mint Bliss Energizing Feet Lotion to get sandal ready feet!

Lazy days for shaving are over:
In winter, we all have those lazy days, don't want to do all the work to shave when we know our legs will not even see the light of day. Well, those days are over, now you can shave your legs daily with 2 in 1 Body Wash & Shave Gel. The convenience of a cleanser and a shaving cream in one product and leaves skin feeling fresh, clean and smooth. Don't forget to put on Hydrating Body Lotion after shaving.
